Gamewire heeft een review van de Creative Labs Desktop Theatre 5.1 op z'n site geparkeerd. Als je voor redelijk weinig poen een surround setje nodig hebt dan is de Desktop Theatre misschien wat:
Wow, these amazed me. They have to be the best computer speakers I have used so far. Positional audio was great with the four-point surround mode, and the best thing about them is they support Dolby Digital. However there are some cons. Number 1, the subwoofer is very poor. Number 2, they still sound like computer speakers (Computer speakers often leave out a lot of the lower tones, giving them a half-rounded tone). These aren't that big of a deal being as they are computer speakers, but it just doesn't replace my home stereo system. What good is Dolby Digital if you can't hear a full, crisp sound?
