PCME heeft een review in elkaar gepleurd van DiD's Total Air War.
Hier wat info:
Earlier in the year DID caused a little ruckus when they announced that Total Air War would now be a full boxed product at a full product price, instead of an add-on for F-22 ADF. Infogrames and DID changed their tune a little not long after by announcing a rebate offer for US F-22 ADF owners. Currently if you're an F-22 ADF owner and you purchase Total Air War from Infogrames here in the US you'll get $15 back plus a coupon for $10 off of Independence War.
So is Total Air War worth a full boxed product price? That depends on what you're looking for in a combat simulation, if you're tired of F-22 simulations by now and if you've already played-out F-22 ADF. They've also enhanced the mission planning capabilities by incorporating a bunch of new features like the Target Area, Assign Flights, Assign Targets, Weapons, Waypoint and Attack Pattern options. When combined you have a lot of in-depth mission planning capabilities at your fingertips, but it can be as in-depth as you desire or as accessible as you desire, because you can pick and choose the options you want to modify, while leaving the others set for the automatic AI selected
