The Voodoo3 is 3dfx's next generation 2D/3D accelerator following the Banshee. The Voodoo3 will be available in several flavors (all of which will use 16MB of RAM) including this particular card, the Voodoo3 3000 AGP. The 3000 runs at 166Mhz as opposed to its predecessors that ran in the 90-110Mhz range. This is due in part to the fabrication process moving from a .35 micron to .25 micron process. One can easily see the physical layout and dimensions of the Voodoo3 are STB's. At first glance you'd think you were looking at a Velocity 4400 TNT card. This is not surprising being that STB definitely has some of the best layout designers in the industry.
