Jack Kolesar van AMDZone trakteert ons op een review van de PCH-137 koeler voor Socket A processoren. De koeler bestaat uit een koperen heatsink met daar bovenop een dual blade 6800RPM fan. Opvallend was dat de heatsink identiek was met die van de Overclockerz Gladiator. Het bevestigingsklipje is niet echt stevig, het brak zelfs af bij het testmodel. De koelprestaties zijn echter veelbelovend. De koeler staat tussen de FOP-38 en de WBK-38 genoteerd. Hieronder de conclusie:
Not bad at all! I was very surprised at these results. The unit doesn't look like any thing out of the ordinary but it does perform extremely well. The all copper heatsink and narrow fins do a great job of dissipating the heat. Keep in mind that this is with the 6800RPM cooler. Expect the 4900RPM to be a good bit hotter. I currently do not have any pricing information on the unit but it certainly looks like it costs a lot less to manufacture than the other coolers by Powercooler. However, the added copper may keep the price a bit high. We'll have to see. A "thumbs down!" to the clip, at least the one on my unit. But overall, a definite "thumbs up!".
