The Addtronics W8500 WTX case is simply an incredible case, and shows how the WTX form factor can really be used to it's fullest. It's got a few quirks (tough to remove motherboard tray, strange airflow design, and can be loud with all the fans installed), but for high-end workstations/servers/game rigs with lots of hard disks, the W8500 has a lot to offer. After using both Addtronics's high end WTX (W8500) and ATX (7896), it's tough to decide between the two which is the better case. Personally, I liked the W8500 more, due to it's better overall design which makes for less IDE and SCSI cables running all over your case. Besides, the W8500 even comes standard with wheels! How cool is that.
With RAID starting to catch on like wildfire, there should be a significant change to cases that will be able to deal with more drives and the heat that they create. Even though WTX cases have been out for a while now, they still have very little name recognition, and I can't see why. With some Pentium 4 motherboards now having the ability to be mounted in any old ATX case, people may see little need to upgrade to a WTX case. For power users though, the W8500 is simply the top of the line right now.
