Black&White preview

U-Games.com heeft een preview gepost van Black&White, het spel waar ze bij Lion Head onder leiding van Peter Molyneux nu al anderhalf jaar heftig mee aan het knutselen zijn.

Hier een stukje over de bedoeling van het spel:

The game begins with an introduction to the world of Eden, a world so perfect and beautiful that it makes us sick at the very thought, though the people are content and happy, their lives are dull, mediocre, 'neutral'. No mind damaging computer games there then, just happy, peaceful, content, friendly humanoids, who, incidentally, uncannily resemble civilisations from Earth's past and present, including in an effort that even an unmentioned Microsoft strategy game would be proud, Vikings, Egyptians, Chinese, African and Celt groups all looking set for inclusion. All is well in Eden, until that is, you arrive. You being a young sorcerer-type bloke who has come to Eden to 'play' with his pets (the humanoids, who you tower over). The premise is that you build a cunning citadel thing in the corner of this land (the citadel begins appearing as neutral, like the surrounding land) and use it as a beacon through which power can be gained, this power is used by yourself to cast magical spells.
