Although the Alaska Cool-Case is fairly pricey, the design and layout can be fully customized to make it more affordable. Simple conveniences like a swivel motherboard tray and sturdy wheels make CDI's case easier to work with and should result in fewer case-related injuries. The design of the cooling solution is very efficient, and the combination of intake and exhaust keeps the internal temperature of the case very close to room temperature.
Noise aside; the Alaska Cool-Case is a pleasure to own. The combination of copious cooling and conspicuous color makes CDI's fourth generation line of computer cases stand out from the traditionally boring competition. Our only advice is to let your mother choose the colors - you should know by now that red and orange don't match!
