Overclocking the RIVA TNT probably has biggest effect on performance. But before you overclock, make sure you cool the RIVA TNT sufficiently! Passive solutions like heatsinks alone are not good enough. Improve on the card's passive cooling solution by adding a fan or two to cool the card further.
