Sharky Extreme heeft wat nieuws over Skywell, die mogelijk Voodoo3 kaarten gaat bakken voor de Aziatische markt. Dat is opmerkelijk aangezien 3Dfx na de fusie met STB de productie van V3 kaarten in eigen hand heeft genomen:
Sources close to Sharky Extreme have informed us that Skywell Technologies could be manufacturing a Voodoo3 based product within South East Asia. Although 3Dfx as yet has declined to offer any comment on this rumor, when asked about the likelihood of such an event a few months ago, Scott Sellers denied any such possibilty. Skywell Technologies was the first OEM partner in Taiwan to actually release a Voodoo Graphics based board and last year followed up with the Magic 3D2 Voodoo2 based product.
