Baltar vond op de site van iRiver nieuwe firmware voor de iHP-120 mp3-speler. Versie 1.4 fixt een aantal bugs en creëert een aantal nieuwe mogelijkheden. De bugfixes luiden als volgt:
- Fixed the bug that couldn't play 8kHz MP3 file.
- Fixed the bug that couldn't play music file with hidden file property.
- Fixed the bug that system freezes when playing some Ogg files.
- Fixed the bug that couldn't display correctly when browsing Japanese text file that were created on the Japanese OS.
- Fixed the bug that coudn't display correctly when ID3 tag contains both UNICODE and Local Code.
- Fixed the bug that couldn't display ID3 tag with Western European language which contains umlaut or accent correctly.
- Couldn't operate remote when main unit is set to hold and a button is pressed.
