Software-update: SmartFTP 4.1 build 1337

Smartsoft heeft versie 4.1 build 1337 van zijn ftp-client SmartFTP uitgebracht. SmartFTP is een zeer uitgebreide ftp-client. Het biedt onder andere ondersteuning voor beveiligde verbindingen via tls en ssl, communicatie van server naar server via fxp, foutcontrole via xcrc, en verschillende nat- en upnp-omgevingen. Het programma is verkrijgbaar in de smaken Home, Professional en Ultimate. Sinds de vorige vermelding in de Meuktracker zijn onder meer de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen aangebracht:

• Scheduler: Manually executed tasks do no longer block the main thread
• Updated zlib to 1.2.8

• FTP: Improved keep alive

• Added option to enable TCP no delay socket option. This might be useful for terminal connections.
• Terminal: Full screen bar is now high dpi aware

• Support for Windows 8.1 Preview (start SmartFTP from the desktop shortcut the first time)
• Fix: Various (non-serious) GDI handle leaks

• Transfer Queue: Significantly reduced CPU usage for transfer queue control UI updates.
• Compiled with Visual Studio 2013 Preview

• SSH: Added support for AES-GCM authenticated encryption (aes128-gcm@openssh.com, aes256-gcm@openssh.com). These ciphers are available starting with OpenSSH 6.2.

• FIPS 186-3 compliance (on Windows 8 or higher).
