DameWare Development heeft zijn DameWare NT Utilities gisteren voorzien van een update naar versienummer 6.6.0.0. Deze programma's zijn bedoeld voor het op afstand beheren en administreren van Windows NT, 2000, XP, 2003 en Vista werkstations, servers en domeinen. De DameWare NT Utilities bestaan onder andere uit een zeer uitgebreide Active Directory Object Browser en de programma's DameWare Mini Remote Control en DameWare Exporter. De software kan dertig dagen volledig worden getest voordat het moet worden aangeschaft. Het changelog van de drie afzonderlijke programma's laten de volgende veranderingen zien:

- Version Revision.

- Protocol Revision. This release will require a forced update to the MRC Client Agent service on the remote machine. If you select No when prompted to update the Client Agent service, then you connection will be disconnected.
- Various enhancemets & work-arounds for performance & recovery issues in the Vista Operating System.
- Enhancements to Fast User Switching under Vista & XP.
- Enhancements to aid in the detection of possible O/S and/or Network Names Resolution issues.
- Enhancements for various disconnections. Fixed.
- Proxy Secret password did not work properly. Requires update to MRC Client Agent on both the proxy machine and the destination machine. Fixed.
