Fraps is bijgewerkt naar versie 2.6.0. Dit programma laat binnen spellen het aantal frames per seconde zien. Daarnaast is het ook mogelijk om screenshots en video's te maken binnen het spel. Het programma werkt alleen onder Windows 2000, XP of 2003. Windows 98-gebruikers zullen het nog met versie 1.9D moeten doen. Het changelog van deze release laat de volgende veranderingen zien:
