Op de website van Konica Minolta is nieuwe firmware te downloaden voor de Maxxum 7D-camera. Het gaat om versie 1.10 en kan op de camera via Windows en Macintosh toegepast worden. Firmware 1.10 zorgt niet alleen voor een verbeterde schrijfsnelheid naar de geheugenkaart, maar haalt ook een crashbug uit de software. Het exacte changelog ziet er als volgt uit:
