Awil Software heeft enkele dagen geleden versie 4.5 van zijn Avast! Antivirus uitgebracht. Het programma is beschikbaar in een Profesional Edition en een gratis Home Edition. Het verschil tussen de twee is onder andere een uitgebreidere interface, script blocking en push-updates, maar een compleet overzicht kan op deze pagina gevonden worden. Avast! Home Edition kan in verschillende talen worden neergehaald, waaronder in het Nederlands en Engels en weegt ongeveer 8MB. Het changelog van deze release laat de volgende veranderingen zien:
