Software-update: Camtasia Editor 2026.2.0

TechSmith heeft versie 2026.2.0 van Camtasia uitgebracht. Met dit programma, dat voor Windows en macOS beschikbaar is, kunnen op een eenvoudige manier video's voor onder meer trainingen en presentaties worden gemaakt. Het kan op aparte sporen de microfoon, de webcam, wat er op het beeldscherm gebeurt, het geluid dat op de computer wordt afgespeeld en de invoer van muis en toetsenbord opnemen. Dit alles kan vervolgens afzonderlijk worden bewerkt en verder kunnen er effecten aan worden toegevoegd om zo professionele video's te maken. New Features

• Automatically create a training video with Camtasia Editor and Snagit:
  • Grab step-by-step screenshots with Camtasia Snagit 2026.3.0 or later, then send to Camtasia Editor to automatically create a ready-to-share training video.
• Camtasia Editor now provides an export option for WebM videos, adding more flexibility with smaller sizes and transparency.
• Added support for curved arrow callouts.

Feature Updates

• Introduced a new collection of customizable animations in Camtasia Assets plus better support for Lottie files. Find the perfect animation for your video and quickly change colors to match branding.
• Rev media duration will now be decided by the longer media rather than the shorter one. The shorter one will have its final frame held.
• Added an option to change the default cursor elevation in the Preferences dialog.
• Renamed Size to Weight in Stroke section.
• Generate Audio now sends the script from the Voice Narration tool panel to Audiate for audio generation.

Performance Improvements

• Improved performance and accuracy of font resolution.
• Improve the project performance for the project with hundreds of markers.

Updates for IT Administrators

• Updated OpenSSL from 3.3.2 to 3.6.3.
• Updated FFMPEG and associated libraries from 7.1.2 to 8.1.2.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed the batch exporter failure for the producing-multiple-files case.
