NAPS2 is een opensource- en cross-platformprogramma waarmee documenten kunnen worden gescand. Het staat voor Not Another PDF Scanner, maar dat dekt de lading niet helemaal, want het kan niet alleen naar pdf scannen, maar ook naar tiff, jpg en png. Voor het scannen wordt gebruikgemaakt van standaard Twain- of WIA-drivers en voor ocr gebruikt het Tesseract. Versie 7.5.0 is uitgekomen en daar zijn de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen in aangebracht:

- Reworked device selection
- Driver selection is now in the "Choose device" window
- Click the top-right button to toggle between icon and list views

- To prompt for a device each time you scan, "Always Ask" must be explicitly selected
