Software-update: VirtualBox 7.0.4

Oracle heeft de tweede update voor VirtualBox versie 7.0 uitgebracht. VirtualBox kan worden gebruikt om andere besturingssystemen in een virtuele omgeving op een computer te installeren. Op die manier is het mogelijk om verschillende besturingssystemen op dezelfde hardware naast elkaar en tegelijkertijd te gebruiken. VirtualBox is beschikbaar voor Windows, macOS, Linux en Solaris, en is in staat om diverse gastbesturingssystemen te draaien. Nieuw in versie 7.0 is onder meer dat Windows 11 nu officieel wordt ondersteund. De veranderingen die in versie 7.0.4 zijn aangebracht zijn hieronder voor je op een rijtje gezet:

Benieuwd of deze update wel op Debian 12 werkt

Ik heb VirtualBox 7.0.0 draaien via de runfile op Debian Testing. Hopelijk wordt VirtualBox 7.0.x binnenkort in de officiële repository opgenomen.

Spnnend. Heb de versie voor de m1 mac processor gedownload, want ik gebruik nog steeeds good old Davilex.
Had niet verwacht dat ze er ooit aan zouden beginnen. Parallels is geen optie, want ik gebruik macs op heel veel verschillende plekken en dan wordt het te duur.
Is zeker nog niet klaar, maar hoopgevend.
Heb maar windows XP nodig.

als je Ventura draait heb je sowieso 7 nodig. Ook al werk je met intel Macs.
