Software-update: Ventoy 1.0.82

Ventoy is een opensourceprogramma waarmee zelfstartende USB-sticks kunnen worden gemaakt. De manier waarop het dat doet, is echter anders dan vergelijkbare tools. De USB-stick hoeft slechts eenmaal geprepareerd te worden en daarna kunnen net zoveel ISO-bestanden op de stick geplaatst worden als er vrije ruimte is. Ventoy maakt zelf automatisch een bootmenu aan voor de aanwezige ISO-bestanden. Ondersteuning is aanwezig voor zowel UEFI- als legacy-boot en het is getest met 1020 verschillende ISO-bestanden. De changelog voor versie 1.0.82 ziet er als volgt uit:

Ventoy2Disk.exe Update
Ventoy2Disk.exe/Ventoy2Disk_X64.exe files are updated in this release (it's been a long time since their last update in 1.0.76). So there may be some false positives again from antivirus software.

Wat doet ventoy-1.0.82-livecd.iso ?
Ik heb een USB-stick al lang in gebruik, maar weet eigenlijk nog steeds niet wat je met die livecd kan doen.

Kun je Ventoy mee installeren. "Ventoy LiveCD is only for Windows users, and only needed when Ventoy2Disk.exe always fail".

Dat is een significante toevoeging. Zover ik weet kon je inderdaad nog geen exFAT partities maken met Ventoy.
