De ontwikkelaars van het kX Project zijn druk bezig met de ontwikkeling van hun inmiddels welbekende kX Audio Drivers. Deze drivers bieden professionele opties zodat je in staat bent om je EMU10K1 of EMU10K2 gebaseerde geluidskaart van Creative Technology Ltd. en E-mu Systems Inc. volledig in te stellen. Versie 5.10.0.3535 alpha is onlangs uitgebracht en heeft het volgende changelog meegekregen:

- NOTE: if you have any pre-3535 setting files, the new prolog/epilog features won't be available until you upload new prolog/epilog effects into the DSP. Resetting settings will upload the new effects automatically
- NOTE: the AC97 slider volume is shown in percents (%); 100% corresponds to 12dB amplification
