Software-update: myHTPC R24 alpha

Het programma myHTPC, wat staat voor My Home Theater Personal Computer, is aangekomen bij versie R24 alpha. Hiermee kan je je personal computer omtoveren tot een volwaardig muziek-, film- en televisie-systeem. Daarnaast kan je de menu structuur geheel naar je eigen wensen aan passen. Ook is het systeem geschikt om een duidelijke en makkelijke menu structuur op te zetten welke gebruikt kan worden als openbare computer. De release notes laten ons het volgende weten:

I've been feeling guilty about the weather module not functioning and discovered yesterday that The Weather Channel (weather.com) offers a free XML weather feed.

So, this release no longer uses InterceptVector.com and uses TWC instead.

In order for it to work properly, you must run the configure application and go into each weather module to reset the location. Simply type the location name you want (or a zip code if in the USA), hit the Search button and select one of the resulting locations.

This version uses weather icons provided by TWC and has full support for metric units.

Note that there have been no improvements to the display of the weather module; it still looks poor at anything less than 800x600.

Je gaat me toch niet vertellen dat ze alleen de weather module hebben aangepast?
Werk dan liever aan die Datafiles van de filmpjes, want die zijn niet echt makkelijk in te stellen, of wat aan de gebruiksvriendelijkheid van de instellingen vd programma, want dat laat nog veel te wensen over

Strax, strax... 31 augustus komt eerste versie van myhtpc2 uit geloof ik... dan moet iedereen er makkelijk aan kunnen werken dmv plugin;s

Ja, die weather modle interesseert mij ook niet zoveel, maar dat is waarschijnlijk het makkelijkst om aan te werken
Wat mij ook opvalt is dat er bij nieuwe screenshots ene knop admin bij staat.
