Make sure you uninstall any old Razer drivers loaded, reboot, make sure the new 2500 Razer works without our driver, re-install. Make sure you are running the install as admininistrator.
The 3.0 drivers (v3.0.01) should be considered for use only on XP. It has been installed on all supported versions of windows, with ps/2 & USB where appropriate, and tested completely. We recommend USB connection as PS/2 will no longer be supported. We recommend a dedicated USB port, and if the mouse is disconnected, when it is reconnected it should be connected to the same USB port.
Important:
If someone tries to install this over an old driver, it will tell the user to uninstall the old driver first. Most testing was with a clean install on WindowsXP.
