Software-update: Tyan System Monitor 2.11 beta 2

Tyan heeft een nieuwe versie uitgebracht van het programma System Monitor. In deze release zijn weer enkele moederborden toegevoegd die ondersteund worden. Helaas werkt TSM alleen op Windows 2000 en XP. Het changelog ziet er als volgt uit:

If you encounter "
Run-time Error 13: Type mismatch", you may do one of follows:
1) Update your VB Script Engine:
1) http://www.microsoft.com/msdownload/vbscript/scripting.asp
2) Or, change the decimal separator to "." instead of "," under
2) your regional settings. (This is only a temporary solution.)

If you encounter a detection problem on a S246x motherboard, make sure you upgrade to the latest
BIOS with the parameter "/mode=3" using the file named phlash16.exe. Please refer to How to Flash the BIOS page for flash details. wel handig progje, maar ik vind het een beetje lomp.

op www.techuser.org (nu even mailen) kun je TyanTemp vinden, das een heel klein lief tooltje die alleen je 2 temps in de gaten houd, (op de s2460 en mpx iig)

Waarom staat er bij deze post bij de gerelateerde producten niet meer alle Tyan borden die hierdoor gesupport worden? Dan krijg je namelijk wel een netjes mailtje. (in het geval dat je je hebt ingeschreven voor 'updates per email' voor je mobo)

Ik vind dit echt een handig programmatje, je kan precies zien waar de sensors zitten. (i.p.v. temp. 1 t/m 6)
Je kan trouwens met Tyan bordjes ook gewoon MBM5 gebruiken.

Ah eindelijk echte support voor de Tyan Thunder K7Xpro, jammer alleen dat ik geen windows gebruik

Hmm, de s2665 nog steeds niet. Gelukkig wordt deze wel door MBM5 ondersteund.

/edit: Alleen moet je bij MBM idd gokken welke temp sensor je CPU/case/etc is.
