Breakpoint Software heeft na anderhalf jaar weer een nieuwe versie van de hex editor Hex Workshop uitgebracht, welke ditmaal het versienummer 4.00 mee krijgt. De belangrijkste nieuwe features zijn de Structure Viewer, "Smart" Bookmarks, en het gebruik van kleur bij het zoeken naar patronen. Verder wordt het programma als volgt beschreven:
