Driver-update: Sony DSC-Sx0 USB 5.2

Sony heeft een nieuwe versie uitgebracht van de USB-drivers voor zijn digitale camera's uit de series DSC-S70/S50/S30 en DSC-F505V/F55V. Tevens is deze update bedoeld voor de MSAC-US1 MemoryStick Adapter. De volgende release notes worden door het bedrijf achtergelaten:

This driver will resolve the issue where a "Fatal Exception OE" error appears, or when the computer automatically restarts when the camera is disconnected from the computer.

• This update is only for use with computers running the Windows® 98 or Windows® 98 Second Edition operating systems.
• This update consists of two drivers. One is the updated USB Mass Storage Class driver, and the other is the driver for the camera.
• IMPORTANT: This update requires a formatted floppy disk and a working floppy drive.

De bestanden die uitgepakt worden hebben als datum 12 en 17 mei 2000 ?!?! Verder is dit wel opmerkelijk:

Als je naar de FTP site zelf gaat ftp://ftp.ita.sel.sony.com/ccpg/pc/ dan zie je dat die file usbdrv52e.exe dateert van 25-DEC-2001 niet echt recent dus .
