Software-update: Roundcube Webmail 1.0.1

De eerste update voor versie 1.0 van Roundcube Webmail is uitgekomen. De voornaamste feature van deze in php geschreven e-mailwebclient is dat Ajax-technologie wordt gebruikt om de gebruikersinterface te tonen, wat een moderne en vlotte indruk geeft. Roundcube Webmail heeft onder andere ondersteuning voor gedeelde mappen en namespaces, internationalized domain names en smtp-delivery status-notificaties. Daarnaast is de gebruikersinterface voor imap-mappen aangepast om zo meer ruimte te bieden voor extensies en plug-ins. De changelog voor versie 1.0.1 ziet er als volgt uit:

Toch eens zien welke versie xs4all gebruikt op roundcube.xs4all.nl. Dat is duidelijk een andere interface dan webmail.xs4all.nl.

Volgens mij is webmail. de nieuwere versie... roundcube. is de oude versie.
Wat voordelen zijn durf ik niet te zeggen...

Iemand die weet of het mogelijk is om de plugins van myroundcube.net 1:1 over te zetten en eventueel te updaten naar versies die compatible zijn met versie 1 van Roundcube?

Ik was vorige keer van 0.9.x over gegaan naar 1.0 zonder problemen.
Maar ik maak wel gebruik van myroundcube plugins...
In dat geval moet je plugins eerst centraal uitschakelen, roundcube updaten, plugins updaten en weer inschakelen.

Prettig werkende toepassing. Nog nooit een probleem mee gehad en ook de updateprocedure werkt feilloos, althans op mijn server.
Goede community, veel plugins, hoewel ik nooit behoefte heb gehad aan een uitbreiding, als skins en degelijke. Default is het al een prima compleet systeem
