Er is een update voor versie 3.55 van de mediaspeler AIMP verschenen. Deze gratis lichtgewichtmediaspeler van Russische makelij heeft ondersteuning voor de populairste muziekformaten. Het uiterlijk heeft wat weg van Winamp en is door middel van skins aan te passen. AIMP heeft een 18-kanaalsequalizer aan boord en ondersteunt plug-ins. Verder kan het programma cd's rippen, muziekbestanden converteren en tags bewerken. In deze release zijn de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen aangebracht:

- DSP-Manager: Added an ability to switch on/off all cross mixing settings quickly
- Player: The "Insert after current" command in addition to current behavior, now puts track to the beginning of playback queue
- The "Send To" - selected template is ignored, if file doesn't have tags
- Plugins - Compact Disk Audio - cache is not updated in some cases
- Plugins - Compact Disk Audio - information about the track has incorrect encoding, if information has been received from the CDDB
- Player - The remove file confirmation dialog doesn't return focus to the previous window after closing
- Skin Engine - value of the SizeMaximal property isn't taken into account for client-aligned containers
- Tag Editor - ID3v2 - last value is taken into account for the "comment", "genre", "link" fields instead of first, as for the other fields
- Tag Editor - the autotag functions is not work correctly
- Audio Library - the application hangs when trying to move file via Drag-n-Drop, if target folder already contain file with same name
- Few minor bugs were fixed
