Lame 3.93 Stable

Een half jaar nadat de beta-versie uitkwam van Lame 3.93 is er nu de stable-versie uitgebracht. Dit programma wordt gebruikt om MP3 te encoden. Je kunt het encoden zelf doen of je laat het doen door een van de vele programma's die Lame gebruiken. Helaas is er geen changelog beschikbaar van de stable-versie:

The goal of the LAME project is to use the open source model to improve the psycho acoustics, noise shaping and speed of MP3.

2nd UPDATE: It has been verified that LAME 3.93 has quality issues. LAME 3.92 is still the latest recommended version! Read this!

Hmm, in de download zit alleen de .exe en de .dll. Ik was juist erg geintereseerd in de ACM codec, maar die zit er niet bij in deze download (terwijl er wel een acm gecompileerd kan worden volgens de LAME homepage. De ACM had bij 3.92 nog vrij weinig opties, ik hoop dat dat hier verbeterd is.
