De ontwikkelaars van Syabas Technology hebben nieuwe firmware uitgebracht voor de Popcorn Hour A-300. Met dit apparaat, dat ook wel als Networked Media Tank of tegenwoordig als Networked Media Jukebox wordt aangeduid, kunnen audio en video vanaf een aan het apparaat aangesloten externe harde schijf, een nas-systeem of een computer in het netwerk worden afgespeeld. Het bijwerken van de firmware kan door het zipbestand uit te pakken naar de hoofdmap van een usb-geheugenstick, en vervolgens in het menu naar Setup > Maintenance > Firmware Update te gaan en op de 'Check For Firmware Update'-knop te klikken. De lijst met veranderingen voor deze update ziet er als volgt uit:
