Software-update: AIMP 3.10 build 1061

De final release van versie 3.10 van de mediaspeler AIMP is uitgekomen. Deze gratis lichtgewichtmediaspeler van Russische makelij heeft ondersteuning voor de meest gebruikte muziekformaten. Het uiterlijk heeft wat weg van Winamp en is door middel van skins aan te passen. AIMP heeft een 18-kanaalsequalizer aan boord en ondersteunt plug-ins. Verder kan het programma cd's rippen, muziekbestanden converteren en tags editten.

In versie 3.10 is het uiterlijk iets aangepast, wordt de audioconvertor na enige afwezigheid opnieuw met het programma meegeleverd en zijn diverse veranderingen aan de playlists en de audio-library doorgevoerd. Hieronder zijn de belangrijkste verbeteringen ten opzichte van versie 3.00 nog eens voor je op een rijtje gezet:

• Audio Library: An ability of access to the catalog of Internet radio stations has been removed

• Playlist: Added an ability of semiautomatic synchronization of the playlist with the specified folder or playlist
• Playlist: Added an ability to load few playlists to separate tabs via Drag-n-Drop operation
• Playlist: Added an ability to work with groups via keyboard
• Playlist: Usability of multiple files selection using mouse has been improved
• Plugins: Update Checker - Added an ability to download and install an update in semiautomatically mode
• Skin Engine: Text drawing speed is increased twice
• Sound Engine: Algorithm of the resampler has been improved

Dit blijft een fantastische programma, tevens handige en duidelijke "audio converter".

Jammer, ik had gisteren nog een bugreport ingestuurd, maar die is nu niet gefixed.

Het gaat om als je AIMP aan je scherm hebt gedocked (wat ik permanent heb), hij altijd boven alles komt (always on top dus). Hopelijk wordt dit snel een keer gefixed Door deze bug moet ik altijd de speler inklappen als ik een Flash video speel. Als ik dit doe als Flash al actief is, crasht Firefox/Flash. Als AIMP gewoon achter blijft, hoef ik dit niet te doen.

Verder erg mooie speler Ben nu al meer dan 1 jaar geleden overgestapt van Winamp op AIMP.
