TortoiseHg wordt primair voor het Windows-platform ontwikkeld en bestaat uit een verzameling applicaties om met Mercurial te kunnen werken. Onder andere softwareontwikkelaars gebruiken Mercurial om broncode te beheren. De ontwikkelaars hebben onlangs versie 2.4.1 uitgebracht, met de volgende lijst aanpassingen:
