Western Digital heeft enkele dagen geleden nieuwe firmware uitgebracht voor zijn WD TV Live-mediaspeler. De firmware heeft rugnummer 1.08.17 meegekregen en is 132MB groot. Op het GoT-forum loopt een topic over deze mediaspeler en kunnen onder andere gebruikerservaringen worden uitgewisseld. In deze release is een groot aantal problemen verholpen en is ondersteuning voor enkele nieuwe PlayJam-spelletjes toegevoegd, kunnen video's in een willekeurige volgorde worden afgespeeld en kan handmatig naar metadata voor tv-shows worden gezocht.
