Software-update: AIMP 3.00 build 981

Er is een update voor versie 3.00 van de mediaspeler AIMP uitgebracht. AIMP is een gratis lichtgewichtmediaspeler van Russische makelij, met ondersteuning voor de meest gebruikte muziekformaten. Het heeft uiterlijk wat weg van Winamp en is door middel van skins aan te passen. AIMP heeft een 18-kanaalsequalizer aan boord en ondersteunt plug-ins. Verder kan het programma cd's rippen, muziekbestanden converteren en tags editten. Versie 3.0 bevat, naast een nieuw uiterlijk, onder andere een nieuwe sound engine, een compleet vernieuwde muziekbibliotheek en ondersteuning voor ReplayGain. Deze update brengt de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen:

New:

• Localizations were updated
• Playlist: Algorithm of CUE sheets catching for the audio files has been improved - support of files with double extensions has been added

Fixed:

• Buffer for DMO effects is not cleared after playback stopping
• Information about the duration of the files is read incorrectly from the playlist in PLS format
• Autoname for equalizer preset generates incorrectly for the virtual files
• "Default" button in DSP Manager resets all of its settings to their default values only on the second pressing
• Number of the track in the playback queue cuts off in playlist in some cases
• Folder and Files aren't sorted by thier names on adding them from Windows Explorer
• Data from CUE sheets aren't caught up for files in .DTS
• Applications hangs on attempt to play file without audio data, but with tags
• Player doesn't allow to add files in AIFF format to playlist
• Small scratches can be heard on quiet tracks when equalizer is switched on
• Plugins - Online Radio Browser: Error occurres on attempt to switch to "IceCast" tab, if one of the record doesn't contain information about the bitrate
• Plugins - Some visualizations from AIMP2 don't work on AIMP3
• Plugins - Lastfm Client Helper crashes on attempt to show plugin settings, if Lastfm Client doesn't installed
• Plugins - List loses focus after changing state of plugin

Prachtige speler... behalve dat het sorteren op naam van mp3's niet goed gaat. Alles staat dwars door elkaar. Meer mensen met dit probleem?

Ik heb nooit problemen met het sorteren gehad.. lukt bij mij goed.. hij zet ze standaard wel verkeerd neer maar ja..

Vooral die optie om naar USB stickie te kopiëren is makkelijk.

Ik vind dit maar een matige speler. Ik gebruik nu VSO Media Player en die bevalt mijn goed, beter zelfs dan VLC.

Is er al hi-res (24bit) support? Heb het gebruikt maar vond het een beetje shady... in de stats zag je alleen de bitrate. Winamp heeft een specifiek vinkje voor 24 support en in de output plugin stats kan je zien dat er ook echt 24 bit output is.
