Er is een update van Rockbox verschenen met versienummer 3.8. Rockbox is een opensource-alternatief voor de firmware van een groot aantal draagbare muziekspelers, waaronder diverse modellen van Apple, Archos, Cowon en iRiver. De firmware voegt extra functionaliteit toe, zoals ondersteuning voor verschillende formaten en de mogelijkheid om bestanden van de speler te verwijderen of een andere naam te geven. - Two new translations, Croatian (FS#11884) and Latvian (FS#11967) have been added, as well as updates to many other languages. Rockbox 3.8 is released fully translated to 16 languages and with 10 additional languages more than 95% completed.
