Philips heeft op zijn website nieuwe firmware voor verschillende van zijn lcd-tv's uit de 5000-, 6000-, 7000-, 8000- en 9000-series uitgebracht en hieraan het versienummer 0.140.27.0 toegekend. Hierbij moet worden vermeld dat het modellen uit 2010 betreft die van de codenaam Q55xx zijn voorzien. De lijst met veranderingen van deze uitgave ziet er als volgt uit:
