Maandag is versie 3.50 van Sandboxie uitgekomen. Met dit programma is het mogelijk om onder Windows andere programma's in een afgeschermde omgeving te laten draaien. Op die manier kunnen wijzigingen die worden uitgevoerd door programma's als Internet Explorer eenvoudig ongedaan worden gemaakt. Bovendien is er geen risico dat belangrijke onderdelen van het besturingssysteem worden aangetast. Sandboxie kan worden gebruikt op Windows 2000 en hoger; een levenslange licentie kost 31 euro. In deze release zijn de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen aangebracht:

- Windows Installer (MSI) fails to run in the sandbox on 64-bit Windows.
- Errors when running some UPX-compressed executables in the sandbox.
