Het Opera Desktop team heeft maandag de finalrelease van versie 10.51 van de webbrowser Opera uitgebracht. Versie 10.50 bevat onder andere een nieuwere versie van Carakan, de javascript-engine die onderdeel uitmaakt van layout engine Presto 2.5. Deze versie van Carakan is een stuk sneller dan zijn voorgangers. Verder werkt 10.50 beter samen met Windows 7 en is van het Opera-logo in de linkerbovenhoek een menu gemaakt, dat toegang geeft tot alle belangrijke functies in de browser. In versie 10.51 is er eigenlijk niet zo heel erg veel veranderd. Het changelog laat voornamelijk bugfixes zien en de browser zou nog iets sneller geworden zijn.
