Om bepaalde programma's goed te laten werken, zoals een BitTorrent-client of een on-line spel, is het soms noodzakelijk om de juiste poorten op de router open te zetten of te laten verwijzen naar de juiste computer in het netwerk. Niet elke router is echter even eenvoudig te configureren en dat is iets waar Simple Port Forwarding bij kan helpen. Het enige wat gedaan hoeft te worden is de juiste router uit een lijst van inmiddels bijna 1100 ondersteunde types te kiezen, de gebruikersnaam en wachtwoord van de router op te geven en tenslotte welke applicatie toegevoegd moet worden. Het programma maakt vervolgens de juiste aanpassingen in de configuratie van de router. Zondag is versie 2.7.7 uitgekomen en omdat dit de eerste keer is dat het programma in de Meuktracker voorbij komt gaan we wat verder terug in het changelog:
