Tyan heeft voor zijn moederborden van het type S7020 een nieuw bios uitgebracht met 1.01 als het versienummer. Het moederbord is gebaseerd op een Intel 5520-chipset en biedt plaats aan twee Intel Xeon 5500-series-cpu's met een Socket-B-voetje. De lijst met veranderingen ziet er als volgt uit:

- Added support for DDR3 Low Voltage Memory
- Fixed an issue that hang and kernel panic during a Linux reboot test
- Fixed an issue where the system could not boot from a DVD-ROM while in AHCI mode with a SAS HD connected HDD
- Fixed an issue where the systems timestamp would give abnormal readings during the first AC power on
- Fixed an issue where the SMBIOS Type 17, 19, 20 settings were incorrect
- Updated the ASPEED VGA ROM to v0.89.7a f
- Fixed an issue where the Aspeed VGA display would not work correctly under Linux Window X
- Fixed an issue where the BMC event log would have incorrect listings after the first AC power on
- Fixed an issue where the Onboard LAN would disappear under Windows Server 2003
- Fixed an issue where the BMC would not respond if it did not connect to Network
- Fixed an issue where a 3Ware 9690 SA PCI-E RAID Card couldn’t load it’s Option ROM during POST
- Added embedded VGA [Enabled/Disabled] bios option
