Leica heeft voor zijn D-Lux 4 digitale compactcamera's nieuwe firmware uitgebracht met 2.2 als het versienummer. Deze camera's hebben een 1/1,63" ccd-beeldsensor aan boord met 10,1 megapixels, en de ingebouwde lens heeft een bereik van 24-60mm, wat een optische zoomfactor van 2,5x impliceert.
