Nokia heeft voor zijn nieuwste e-mail-telefoon, de E75, nieuwe firmware vrijgegeven. Zoals te zien is in de changelog, zijn er deze keer enorm veel veranderingen doorgevoerd. Naast de normale verbeteringen heeft Nokia in deze release veel nieuwe diensten toegevoegd, of bestaande diensten voorzien van een update, zodat ze weer naadloos kunnen werken met de Nokia-diensten.
Een opvallend detail is dat deze update alleen bij een Nokia Service Point gerealiseerd kan worden. De reden daarvoor is dat de geheugenindeling moet worden gewijzigd en dit niet mogelijk is via Fota of de NSU. Alvorens een bezoek te brengen aan een Nokia Service Point, is het aan te raden om een backup van al je gegevens te maken. Nsp's maken gebruik van een programma dat het toestel eerst compleet formatteert en daarna de software compleet opnieuw opbouwt, in tegenstelling tot Fota en NSU, die alleen de software patchen. Een backup maken kan gemakkelijk met Nokia PC-Suite en door een complete backup naar de interne micro-sd-kaart te schrijven. Een lijst met alle Nokia Service Points in de buurt kan op de Nokia site gevonden worden. De changlog van de nieuwe firmware biedt de volgende aanblik:
