Apple heeft de eerste update voor Mac OS X 10.6 'Snow Leopard' uitgebracht. De update is iets meer dan 73MB groot, maar wanneer van de update-functionaliteit binnen Mac OS X zelf gebruik gemaakt wordt kan dat schelen. De update bevat een aantal verbeteringen die, zoals Apple zelf zegt, de stabiliteit, compatibiliteit en beveiliging ten goede moeten komen. Verder wordt er een nieuwere versie van de Adobe Flash Player plug-in meegeleverd, waarmee een beveiligingsprobleem verholpen is. Hieronder is de complete lijst met veranderingen te vinden:
