De ontwikkelaars van Auzentech hebben voor hun X-Fi Forte-geluidskaart een nieuwe versie van hun driver uitgebracht met 1.0 als het versienummer. De lijst met veranderingen geeft onder andere aan dat de Koreaanse vertaling is verbeterd en een microfoon boost functie is toegevoegd. Deze ziet er dan ook als volgt uit:
Version 1.0:Version RC-4 Patch 1.2:
- Corrects localization error in Korean DDL/DTS Connect screen
- Adds MIC Boost control feature to the Creative Mixer. User can turn MIC Boost on or off. Default setting is "on."
Version RC-3 Patch 1.1:
- Mutes the FP-Mic if there is no mic plugged in.
- Corrects audio "crackling" when using DDL.
- Corrects audio "crackling" when using DTS. (DTS available on Vista only using the DTS driver)
Version RC-2 Patch 1.0:
- Improved Multi-Channel Digital and Analog sounds
- Improved speed when changing Mode
- Improved Stability
Notes:
- Corrects "Bluescreen Stop Error" when switching between the Console Launcher modes when DDL is enabled, a problem seen with certain configurations using the driver included on the CD
- DTS Connect available in WIndows Vista only.
- You need to uninstall any previously installed X-Fi Forte drivers before installing.
