Monitorix heeft een upgrade naar versie 1.2.3 gekregen. De nieuwe versie is vanaf deze pagina voor Linux te downloaden en wordt onder de GPL-licentie beschikbaar gesteld. Monitorix biedt de mogelijkheid om zoveel mogelijk services te monitoren. Zo kan het programma de load van de processor(s) en het geheugengebruik registreren, aangeven wat de temperaturen van de computer is en informatie over netwerkactiviteit laten zien. Verder is het ook mogelijk om van afstand servers te monitoren en kernel-usage bij te houden. De release notes van versie 1.2.3 zijn hieronder geplaatst:

- Fixed to detect and show better the interrupt names.
- Added a minimal support for interrupt numbers bigger than 255. This minimal support will let you see the names of those interrupts that have those big numbers but their activity will rest still void. (thanks to Brian Lopeman, brian.lopeman AT ctrh.org)
- Fixed a missing '127.0.0.1' in the URL of the graph images when 'monitorix.cgi' is called from the command line. (thanks to David Tiberio, dave AT cheapbooks.com)
