BitPim is voorzien van een update naar versie 1.0.0. Dit programma kan de gegevens van cdma-telefoons van onder andere LG, Samsung en Sanyo uitlezen en aanpassen. Deze telefoons hebben namelijk een CDMA-chipset van Qualcomm aan boord en BitPim kan deze chipsets eenvoudig uitlezen. Daarnaast kunnen op de ondersteunde modellen zaken als het telefoonboek, de kalender, achtergronden en beltonen worden aangepast. Hieronder is te vinden wat er allemaal in dit programma is veranderd:

  • Improvement (Windows): users can now toggle between the Help window and BitPim window.
  • Bug fix: LG VX-8100/8300/8500/8600/8700: non-existing calendar file raised exception during calendar send.

qualcom, hmm, klinkt me bekend, heeft de VS niet ergens een importverbod op GSMs met qualcom chips?
