Verwijderd liet weten dat er een nieuwe versie is verschenen van AbsoluteFTP 1.9.6. Een stukje over de nieuwe features van het progamma:
Newer versions have featured SecureFX, which lets you choose standard FTP or secure data transfer with FTP over an encrypted SSH2 connection. Other changes included an initial boot-up prompt for the user to create the application data folder, and a change of the maximum delay time between connection retries from 60 seconds to 9 hours.
Previous updates added the ability to organize sessions in the Connect dialog in any order as well as alphabetically, support for CuteFTP 4.0 databases (also 2.0, 2.6, and 3.0), and an option to disable directory tree view, allowing better navigation of some FTP servers. The latest update includes minor enhancements and bug fixes.
