De mensen van Panic hebben een nieuwe versie van Unison uitgebracht, waardoor het programma aangekomen is bij versie 1.7.8. Unison is een usenet client voor Mac OS X, met mogelijkheden als het uploaden en downloaden van berichten en binary's. Daarnaast kan de client files downloaden aan de hand van nzb-bestanden en door middel van par-sets de geleechte files controleren. Ten opzichte van de voorgaande versie - die overigens dateert van augustus vorig jaar - zijn er in Unison 1.7.8 een aantal verbeteringen doorgevoerd, waaronder een verbeterde message parsing en een bugfix in de ondersteuning van ssl-connecties.
