BTW ik krijg via Ubuntu de updates netjes automatisch binnen (zit soms een paar dagen tussen, maar gaat vrij snel, je hoeft daarvoor alleen je repositories aan te passen)

Zojuist is versie 0.9.23 van Wine uitgebracht. Met behulp van dit programma is het mogelijk om DOS- en Windows-programma's te draaien op POSIX-gebaseerde besturingssystemen, waaronder Linux, FreeBSD en Mac OS X. Wine kan DOS- en Windows-applicaties uitvoeren door deze eerst in een program loader te laden en vervolgens via eigen bibliotheken de verwijzingen naar Windows-API's door te sturen naar de Unix- en X11-tegenhangers. Meer informatie over Wine kan in deze FAQ worden gevonden. In deze release zitten onder andere flink wat verbeteringen aan de printf-formats en is er ondersteuning voor dynamische drives onder Mac OS X.
