Hoewel verreweg de meeste updates voor Skype voor het Windowsplatform zijn, weten de meeste mensen wel dat deze software ook voor Linux en Mac OS X verkrijgbaar is. Minder bekend echter is de versie voor de PocketPC. Enkele dagen geleden is hiervan een nieuwe bètarelease uitgekomen met versienummer 2.1.0.53. Voordat deze geïnstalleerd kan worden moet de oude versie eerst verwijderd worden. Een lijst met ondersteunde pda's kan op deze pagina worden gevonden.
