Eerder deze week maakten we al melding van de vijfde pre-release versie van Miranda IM 0.5, nu is de final-release uitgekomen van dit chatprogramma. Miranda IM is een opensource instant messaging-programma die door middel van plugins ondersteuning biedt voor protocollen zoals ICQ, AIM, MSN, Jabber, Yahoo, Gadu-Gadu, Tlen en Netsend. Nieuw in deze release is onder andere ondersteuning voor Unicode, AIM Oscar (de mogelijkheid om bestanden en away messages te versturen) en verbeterde ondersteuning voor avatars. - Database can store the Unicode strings (in utf8 format), and save and return these strings as ANSI, UCS2 and UTF8 strings
